The Nevada State Museum focuses on the colorful history of the state, including an exhibit on the heritage of the local Native Americans, as well as the largest mammoth skeleton on exhibit in the world. Other exhibits at the museum include an interactive ghost-town, an underground mine, and much more. The museum is located three blocks north of the State Capitol, in the city's center.
