The Governor's Mansion has been the home of the state of Nevada's reigning governor since its original creation in 1909. Today the historic residence stands as a pristine example of the Classical Revival architecture and Georgian and Jefferson motifs that were the vogue during the period. The mansion is located two blocks south of Carson-Tahoe Hospital in the city's center.
